Meet the Team
Alex Henderson
Managing Director
Mucky Monkeys was Alex's creation back in 2014. Her aim was to create a class which was inclusive and allowed children to freely explore a range of multi sensory messy play. Over the years classes have evolved and a wider range of classes have been added.
​
Alex is always happy to get stuck in playing with the little monkeys and loves nothing more than creating a mess!
These days Alex spends her time mainly behind the scenes planning classes and keeping on top of admin.
Heather
Class Leader
Heather has been a regular face at Mucky Monkeys since joining the team in 2016.
Heathers creative and artistic flair is evident in the stunning keepsakes she makes. She's always willing to undertake a challenge of creating a new keepsake design. Heather is one of the faces you'll see at our school craft clubs and craft camps.
Sarah
Class Leader
Sarah is always ready to welcome our Monkeys and their families to our messy play classes with her big smile. Specialising in messy play, she will always go out of her way to ensure everyone has the best, and messiest time!
Karen
Class Leader
Karen is super creative and loves crafting, creating keepsakes, running messy play and Soft & Sensory classes. She is regularly found with a boot full of Mucky Monkeys stock ready to jump in and run any session! Karen can be found at a variety of our classes from sensory soft play, to school crafts or keepsakes!
Faye and Nicole
Class Leaders
Faye joined the team in Summer 2022 and has quickly become a regular face at our classes. Faye can be found at our school craft clubs or weekend messy play sessions where she aims to deliver fun filled classes for all our monkeys.

Nicole joined the team in 2023 and supports at our school craft club and our delivers our Monday Craft Club. With a huge range of experience with children, and currently working in a school setting as an HLTA, Nicole understands the needs of children and is able to deliver fun and educational classes.
